Appreciation Gift Welcomed and Gratitude Returned During 2025 Government Shutdown

Thank you. Thank you.

“Thank you,” was spoken at least six dozen times by the TSA staff at the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport in Panama City Beach, Florida last week..

Watchful eyes, focused minds, listening ears and sharp instincts are called on to work each day, each minute a TSA agent is on the floor.  The work of keeping air travelers safe happens day in and day out as travel happens 365 days a year.   So many airports in the U.S. with TSA personnel watching approximately 3 million air travelers per day in the United States alone, according to a FAA 2025 report.

To help ease the burden of being without compensation during the government shutdown Hand Arendall Harrison Sale presented gas cards to the TSA staff.

Florida Managing Member, Kevin Obos, expressed gratefulness on behalf of the law firm to the TSA staff, “We wanted to give something back to our TSA people locally because we appreciate you keeping us safe and keeping things moving forward.  I know you received some good news in the middle of the night so we are all happy about that, but, hopefully this will help you get caught up a little as you go into the holidays.”

Firm founding partner, Franklin Harrison, also expressed his gratitude and his appreciation on behalf of the firm in being general counsel for the airport authority for more than 20 years.  The Florida office manager, Stephanie Slack, who organized the gift presentation along with the help of Airport Authority Executive Director Parker McClellan, were also in attendance.
