Biographical Information
Amy E. Myers is a Member with the Firm whose practice centers on estate planning, with a particular focus on helping individuals with special needs and their families. She also advises clients on a broad range of transactional matters, including general corporate, real estate, corporate governance, commercial contracts and procurement, and employment matters.
Ms. Myers helps families develop thoughtful estate plans for loved ones with special needs, including planning with special needs trusts and other arrangements designed to provide support while protecting access to public benefits. She works closely with families to address long-term financial and care needs and to create plans that can adapt as circumstances change. Ms. Myers is also a member of the Florida Bar’s Special Needs Trust and Disability Joint Committee.
Her broader transactional practice encompasses general corporate matters, real estate, corporate governance, commercial contracts and procurement, and employment. In her work with governmental clients and private landowners, she advises on code enforcement, property acquisition and development, and infrastructure construction projects, bringing a practical perspective to real estate and corporate governance issues.
Ms. Myers is a member of The Florida Bar, including the Elder Law Section and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, and is admitted to the Federal Bars of the Northern and Southern Districts of Florida. She serves as Board Attorney for the Panama City Beach Community Redevelopment District, Beach Mosquito Control District, and South Walton Mosquito Control District.
Ms. Myers earned her J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and her B.A. from the University of Florida.
