Morris and Mason Join Hand Arendall Harrison Sale in Birmingham

Hand Arendall Harrison Sale LLC (HAHS) is happy to announce that Shelby Morris and Brooks Mason have joined the firm’s Birmingham office.

Morris is an associate attorney focusing on local government work and bankruptcy and creditor’s rights. She was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. She attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Writing, was inducted into the Sigma Tau Delta honor society, was awarded runner-up Most Outstanding Professional Writing Student, and was a Dean’s List recipient. While earning her Master’s degree in Rhetoric and Composition, Morris developed and taught freshman composition classes while tutoring students at the University Writing Center. Later, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law where she was an active member of Women in Law and was an Academic Success mentor. 

Mason is an associate attorney focusing on estate planning and probate litigation. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2021 where he competed on the National Trial Advocacy team and was the recipient of the George Peach Taylor Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. While at Alabama, he externed for the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corp, and the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office. He was also a member of the Alabama Council of Presidents and the St. Thomas More Society.

Mason graduated from Samford University in 2017, magna cum laude. At Samford, he was a John Howard Scholar and a Truman Fellowship Nominee. In the summer of 2016, Brooks was an honors fellow at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C.
