Biographical Information

Robert Clark is an associate in the Firm’s litigation section.  Robert’s practice centers on liability defense,  commercial litigation, and other insurance-related litigation.

Before joining the Firm, Robert represented personal injury plaintiffs at a boutique firm in Birmingham, Alabama, focusing on catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims. Prior to that, Robert practiced commercial law, representing banks and businesses across Alabama in commercial litigation and transactions. Robert’s experience includes business tort and fraud claims, commercial loan recovery and collections, bankruptcy litigation, breach of contract actions, and drafting commercial loan agreements.

Robert earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2014.  At Alabama, Robert won awards for his advocacy.  In the Campbell Moot Court Competition, Robert earned the Most Outstanding Oral Advocate award, and his team won the tournament and Best Brief award. In the Jessup International Moot Court Competition, Robert won the award for Top Speaker in the Southeast region.  For his accomplishments, Robert was inducted into the Order of Barristers. Robert earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Alabama, majoring in History and Political Science.

Robert and his wife, Lauren, live in Birmingham.  When Robert isn’t working, he enjoys hiking, playing music, and racing cars in endurance events.
