Biographical Information

Bob Riccio is a member in Hand Arendall Harrison Sale’s business section. Bob’s practice focuses on complex tax and estate planning, business taxation, taxation of trusts and estates, and tax-exempt organizations. His practice also includes handling estate administrations and advising clients on asset protection issues. Bob also has experience in representing taxpayers in disputes with various federal, state and local taxing authorities, as well as representing both beneficiaries and trustees in fiduciary disputes and litigation.

Bob currently serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Trusts at the Alabama Law Institute, and serves on the board of directors for the Alabama Federal Tax Clinic. Bob is also active in the community and is a member of the Leadership Mobile Class of 2016. As recognition of pro bono service to clients, Bob received the 2015 Volunteer of the Year Award from the South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program.

Bob received his LL.M. (Master of Laws)  degree in taxation from NYU School of Law and his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law. Bob is also a Certified Public Accountant and received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi.
