Biographical Information

Norman Stockman chairs the Firm’s Litigation Section, specializing in commercial, maritime, construction, and bankruptcy litigation. He tries cases in state and federal courts across Alabama and Mississippi and is admitted to the Fifth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals. His diverse clientele includes marine towing companies, terminal operators, contractors, engineers, architects, and more.

Norman has held leadership roles in numerous professional and civic organizations, including serving as president of the Propeller Club of the United States, Port of Mobile; chair of the Young Lawyers Committee and board member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States; president of the Dauphin Way United Methodist Church Foundation; and vice-chair of the Mobile Museum of Art’s board of directors.  He’s also served on the Alabama State Bar Young Lawyers Section Executive Committee.
