Biographical Information

Norman Stockman serves as chair of the Firm’s Litigation Section.  His litigation practice focuses on commercial, maritime, construction, and bankruptcy disputes, representing businesses of all sizes in complex matters involving contract disputes, business torts, shareholder and partnership conflicts, and financial litigation. An experienced trial lawyer, he handles cases in state and federal courts across Alabama and Mississippi and is admitted to practice before the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits.

In addition to his litigation practice, Norman drafts and negotiates charter agreements, vessel purchase and sale contracts, transportation agreements, towing contracts, and terminal operation agreements, bringing a practical understanding of how transactions and litigation intersect.
