Matthew is a seasoned tax controversy attorney, having defended billions of dollars in tax deficiency assessments while working as Tax Counsel at Honeywell International Inc., working with privately owned businesses, and representing individuals. Matthew excels in all areas of taxation, including federal, state, local, and international taxation of businesses, individuals, and trusts & estates. Matthew also has extensive M&A experience, from both tax and business perspectives. Matthew’s Tax Notes publication addresses nationwide issues associated with the imposition of State and Local taxes upon companies offering technology, cloud computing, and software services from outside of the taxing jurisdiction.
