Biographical Information
Jack O’Dowd is a business lawyer who assists clients in a variety transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and corporate law. Jack also works with families on their estate planning needs and guides them through the probate court process. He routinely assists client with issues that arise throughout the business lifecycle including entity formation, legal aspects of their operations, buying and selling businesses, business succession planning.
Jack is a lifelong Mobilian. He received his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of South Alabama and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law. Jack’s previous experience working as a Certified Public Accountant at a Big 4 accounting firm enhances his law practice.
Together with his wife Anna and their six children, the O’Dowds are active parishioners at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mobile. Jack serves on the board of directors of the charity Soccer4Life, and he also enjoys playing and coaching the “beautiful game.”
