Lisa Darnley Cooper Presented William Kaufman Award

Ms. Cooper is an attorney at Hand Arendall in Mobile and has been an active volunteer and board member for numerous organizations including the South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Project, Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Alabama, and United Cerebral Palsy. The award also came with a $1,000 grant, which Cooper gave to the South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Project.

The Community Foundation of South Alabama is a public charity that plays a key role in meeting the needs of South Alabama through leadership and grants. More than $63 million in grants have been awarded since 1976 by the Foundation to nonprofit organizations to support programs that make life better in the region.
